2022 - Present: Postdoctoral researcher, FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, Erlangen (Germany)
Supervised by Prof. Torben Krüger, the chair of stochastics at the Department of Mathematics. I investigate the eigenvalue distribution of structured Hermitian random matrices using the supersymmetric method.
2018 - 2022: PhD in Physics, Bielefeld University, Bielefeld (Germany)
Supervised by Prof. Gernot Akemann at the Faculty of Physics. Research topic: Skew-orthogonal polynomials for non-Hermitian symplectic random matrices with a particular focus on scaling limits of the symplectic elliptic Ginibre ensemble.
I was part of the Bielefeld-Seoul International Research Training Group 2235, a joint research program between the Faculty of Mathematics at Bielefeld University and the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Seoul National University (South Korea).
PhD thesis: Universal Scaling Limits of the Symplectic Elliptic Ginibre Ensemble
2015 - 2018: Master of Science in Physics, Bielefeld University, Bielefeld (Germany)
I studied the master program Mathematical and Theoretical Physics and wrote my master thesis in mathematical physics under the supervision of Prof. Gernot Akemann. Coursework: About 50% mathematics lectures (including probability theory and numerics of dynamical systems) and 50% theoretical physics lectures (including quantum mechanics and general relativity).
Master thesis: Cauchy Transforms of Orthogonal Polynomials for Random Matrices
2012 - 2015: Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Bielefeld University, Bielefeld (Germany)
Major: Mathematics, Minor: Physics, bachelor thesis in functional analysis supervised by Prof. Yuri Kondratiev. Standard curriculum including lectures on analysis, differential equations, experimental and theoretical physics and two semesters of laboratory experience.
Bachelor thesis: Trotter-Kato Approximation von Operatorhalbgruppen
